I have done a search of the archives and have found some great information.
My problem is this: a mom has discovered that all of her milk that she has
been saving in preparation for returning to work smells and tastes rancid.
I have told her about scalding fresh milk prior to storing, but she is
heartbroken over the milk that she may have to waste. (her baby has had 2
reactions to small amounts of formula in cereal so she simply cannot use
formula) Someone had suggested boiling rancid milk and then simmering x20
minutes. Mom has tried this but she tells me that it still smells, although
not as bad. Is there anything else that she could to in order to save the
sour frozen milk? Thanks, Marilyn[ from PEI Canada]
