We have a mother who is breastfeeding a five month old baby in a family of
five children, the oldest of whom was recently diagnosed with pinworms.
Doc wants the entire family treated, except the baby, because apparently
Vermox is not recommended in children under two. Doc thought that mom
should not breastfeed during mom's treatment but rather pump and bottle
feed during that time. Baby does not readily take bottles. What to
advise? Does anyone have any info on the safety of mom taking Vermox while
breastfeeding?
