I have been telling my childbirth classes about this for years.    I
encourage them to stay at home as long as possible, while I give them
suggestions for  naturally enhancing labor.   This one always brings on some
smiles.

I have heard of some hospitals here in Israel where breast pumps are used in
labor for this purpose. Has anyone else heard of such a thing?
