 reading tom's book the pediatric dose for a term infant is 15mg/kg.day. the
amount found in the plasma of infants whose mothers were taking 400 mg three
times a day ranged from 1.27 - 2.41 micrograms/mL.. mothers receiving 600 mg
daily  0.3 - 1.4 micrograms/mL

   she might ask for the metro vaginal jell from which the plasma level
averged only 237 micograms/L
