Magda,
        Thanks for your thoughtful points on the mom in the Ped's office. As we
all know, these moms have lots of new things to deal with. Sometimes it
takes having encountered a situation at least once to be able to form a
response to it for the next time around. Especially if what just
happened was totally unexpected. As an adult in my mid-40's, sometimes
it still takes me time to come up with "what I should have said" when
someone says something so completely outrageous! And as you  say,
whatever way dad can be supportive of mom can be a good thing. They are
after all partners in this parenting thing, and will be for a long time.
