Hi Janice,
This is a few days behind but just in case you were still looking for
opinions...When I was nursing my boys I would always have a few months of
period-like discomfort and spotting off and on sometime after their
first birthday. I'm not very specific about dates because I nursed well
into toddlerhood and loved that my periods didn't come back until they
were about 18 months old. I didn't worry about those early signs, just
took it to mean my body was about to kick back into gear, ovulatory
cycles , periods ,etc.
