Yes, history of paternalistic societies, that is...
Dr. Page, with all respect to your great knowledge of mouth and jaw development
in relation to breastfeeding, I really must disagree here. The picture you
describe here is just, exactly what the point is: culturally (yes, valid in many
cultures) determined behaviour. It would only be biological if it were tru in
all or almost all cultures. In China before the communisme feet were a major
erogenic and erotic part of the female body. In fact women were pictured with
bare breasts but always with covered feet (see the publications of Robert Jan
van Gulik, a well known Dutch sinologist).
And since in most cultures females have to make great efford in winning the
males for them, they'll show the behaviour and bodyparts (or teasingly hide
those) the males seem to like most. Women can get sexual arousel and pleasure
from caressing almost any parts of their bodies and most of them will use those
parts the male of their choice will like as well, be it feet or breasts or
bottoms. It's all part of the very biological urge to reproduce and to sustain
the species and induviduals may use any tool available or usefull in their own
situation.

Standing up for ones rights is hardly fanatic. Is it fanatic to stand up for
ones right to vote or to travel freely in ones own country? Is it fanatic to
stand up for the rights that are written down in the constitutional law as well
in your country as mine?
