In my doula work I use a sling and carry a baby with throughout the day while
doing housework, cooking, walking outside, etc. It convinces moms that they
can do that too instead of just putting the baby in an infant seat of some
kind all the time. But I have one made by a couple of women in Oregon (I've
used it for years) that is better than the popular ones for sale because it
has a strap around the waist as well as crossing behind the back,
distributing the weight, and it doesn't swing forward when I bend over. I am
truly hands free and it is half the cost of most. E-mail me privately for
more info on where to find it.
