Hi all! I have a Mom with twins that have not been nursing well. This is a long story...Mom was in a car accident with the twins and her 3 other children when the twins were 3 weeks old. Bad accident! But all the children were in car seats and in them properly and did not sustain any physical injuries. Mom got a cervical fracture and lost 2 fingers. She was in the hospital for a week. She pumped and babies were bottle fed. She is now breastfeeding and giving supplements by bottle. They were not gaining weight well before the accident. I have suggested using an SNS. Both are now attaching well(I will visit tomorrow to assess this for sure.), but assuming they are attaching well, can she feed them both at the same time using the SNS? If one nurses more vigorously than the other, will one not get any or very little supplement? Thanks!
