Why would you have to wean to have these procedures done? With all due
respect, the surgeon does not know what he is talking about. Lots of women
have had biopsies without having to wean and it's gone very well. To save
aggravation, has the surgeon thought of a needle biopsy? Make sure that he
does not do a periareolar incision, which may compromise your future milk
supply.
Doctors give advice, not commandments. You have the right to do what you
think is best for you and your child and to have that decision respected.
