Has anyone information about ingestion of apricot seeds and effects on milk
supply or if contents pass into breast milk. I have just heard about using
apricot seeds as a nutritional supplement (vitamin B17) and wonder if there
are any drawbacks to it's use and breastfeeding. I want to ensure I have the
right information as the client is using it with the understanding that it
(vitamin B17) will prevent cancer. She has a fairly high risk of breast
cancer (mom at 54 and aunt at 56 (sisters)). I do not want to deter from
this as she really believes in it. But as there is some controversy about
the seed, I am curious if it has been investigated in the lactation world. I
have yet to buy Hale's book (financial reasons), so if some one could check
and get back to me I would appreciate it.

TIA
