This may seem obvious, but this babe is of course not simply reacting to
the change in feeding style - this is a person in grief, and so yes I think
that under the circumstances shut-down of appetite might be expected for a
day or so. Trying to reestablish physical connectedness and building new
emotional connection by lots of relaxing skintoskin, soft sensuous jazz, or
whatever the family used to listen to, will probably give a place of
emotional openness from which to build upon, and I would hope that
nursing/feeding would follow suit.
Looking back that all sounds bordeline weird, but hey it doesn't cost
anything to move on the idea it might be right...:)
