Why would moms who plan to bf bring in "supplies"? Do you mean moms who plan
to AF? It certainly seems reasonable to me that mothers should have to bring
in their own artificial baby milk, pacifiers, whatever and that if mothers
are going to bf and have difficulties, there should be a store of EBM on hand
for them. This seems so obvious and so simple that it is clear the only
reasons it doesn't happen are financial (many hospitals get much more than
free ABM from drug companies) and emotional/cultural issues about bf (like
the "guilt" thing).
