To add to this discussion about breast pain. I am no longer breastfeeding, but I have a recurring problem of sharp intermittent breast pain similar to what is often described as ductal yeast. I also have Fibromyalgia. Quite by accident I discovered that the pain I am feeling actually originates in one of the "hot spots" for Fibromyalgia; the shoulder. Often the shoulder itself does not feel painful, but when the affected area is massaged, I can feel the shooting pains in the breast. Just something else to think about...
