When the words and phrases "root of all evil" and "conspiracy" come into
play, then I believe that this may be an indicator that other issues may be
involved here in the discussion, whether we are discussing one hold, nipple
shields, or any other disputable tool or intervention.
I think that this is an example of one technique that is useful in some
situations. I prefer the cross cradle hold, as it works with my clients, but
I also know that there are others that work as well. No one technique can
possibly be recommended to be a result of a conspiracy, nor can it be the
"root of all evil."
This seems an extreme response to me...
