Fellow Lactnetters - I understand that women with fertility challenges may
have problems with milk supply. I have a multip I'm working with who had a
great milk supply for her first three children but now with her 4th is
struggling. It took her four years to get pregnant with this one and she did
take Chlomid and progesterone (I think while pregnant to maintain the
pregnancy). What's the
prognosis for increasing supply? She's been breasting, pumping,(for two
weeks) and taking Fenugreek (for one week) with no appreciable change in
supply (about 1oz gained by baby when weighed at clinic). Should her
hormone levels
be tested? If so which ones? Thanks!
