I am David C. Page, DDS and I have a grand interest in oral-facial
development and deformation as well as a largenumber of other areas.  I have
a rather broad knowledge of the medical database which I have been
passionately reading now for nearly a decade. A grand void in
dental--medicine exists in the area of jaw growth, development and
deformation....which impacts the oral and nasal airway...which impacts blood
oxygen and hormones, etc....which impacts LIFE & DEATH!!!

I am a third generation general dentist from Baltimore, Maryland.  I
graduated in 1980 from the U. of Md BCDS dental school.  I am a member of the
BCDA, MSDA, ADA and AAFO. I have been published several times, particularly
in the journal of the AAFO--American Association for Functional Orthodontics.

I have two abstracts on Breast Feeding accepted for presentation at the
APHA--American Publica Health Association meeting in Boston, November 2000.

My educational web site SmilePage.com is in the early stages of showing what
I have found.  Currently you can see how complex the jaw is to treat and in
the research area palates of BrFd and BtFd infants.

Hope to be able to contribute to LACTNET as well as learn some clinical
experience knowledge from participants.

THOUGHT: Much research has been spent on the differences between Breast milk
and bottle formula.....how about the mechanical differences of SUCKLE vs.
SUCK?
