I might not be able to get you to even *try* termites, but I can teach your
child that termites are edible. It's easy to teach a child that anything is
edible. Cultures around the world do it every day -- each culture a
different set of foods. It *is* very difficult in adulthood to change our
views about such deeply embedded topics as what is edible and what is sexy,
just like it's difficult to learn Chinese as an English-speaking adult. But
millions of Chinese babies learn to speak Chinese every day. We can change
what we teach our children.

And if you re-read my post about men not being terribly worried about the
impregnability of the women they attempt to have sex with, you'll see that
it is very unlikely that men rely solely or even very much at all on what a
female's breasts look like in their decision about whether or not to try to
have sex with the woman.

It is also not necessarily the case that men everywhere are stimulated by
visual images -- I believe all of that research has been done on Western
cultures. In fact, most psychological research has been done on
middle-class white Americans -- and may or may not be applicable to other
groups. Certainly one would wise to refrain from taking a finding from a
study of middle-class white Americans and assuming that it applies to
*humans* everywhere.
