On the subject of milk banks, I have a co-worker with a 3 month-old who
pumped 24 ounces twice last night, she said she dumped 2 ounce off the top
of all 4 bottles because she didn't want to use another bottle. (she didn't
know she would exceed her bottles both pumpings, she thought it was a
fluke!) She has called the milk bank in Denver, but they tell her they
only need premie milk. She says that Denver is the 'link' to all the other
milk banks, so calling others would not help.
Is this true, that only premie milk is needed?
Is it true that by just calling the Denver milk bank, she would know that
ALL the milk banks only need premie milk?
If not, I will refer her to the appropriate bank. She says she has gallons
in her freezer!
Thanks!
