That is enough to make me fear any import of 'nappy numbers' to the
UK! We have quite enough of our own barriers to bf!

Absolutely. This fear is pervasive....according to our stats it is
the over-riding reason why women give up bf, at whatever stage they
are asked about it.
I know the argument that you have to give people something simple to
follow, and that health professionals 'in charge' of bf need
something simple....but if we do this *instead of teaching them how
to ensure the baby is feeding effectively* we are getting it the
wrong way round.
Why teach about what comes out the other end before you've learnt how
the stuff gets in at the other????
