It appears that these comments that you responded to may have been sent to
you via private email.  While I respect your right to respond to something
that has been sent to you, I would be very worried about sending an email to
you off list.  I really don't think it was fair to respond publicly to a
private email and to include a copy of the private email to this list.

This is not being sent to disagree or argue with any ideas expressed, it is
only to remind one and all that something sent privately should be kept
private and responded to privately.  It's only common curtesy.
