Dear Friends:
Barbara Wilson-Clay has asked for advice; the mother's strep culture came
back positive, but "not enough" to make a diagnosis of infection in her
breast. Yet the mother is miserable, and ready to wean. So why not try a
course of antibiotic for 10 days? What would it hurt?
Warmly,
Nikki Lee RN, MSN, Mother of 2, IBCLC, CIMI
