I have been contacted by a mother who has an anal fissure. The proctologist wants to use botulism injections at the site. He has told her that she must wean her 5 month old prior to treatment. I suspect that this is something that is local and would not be a problem, however I cannot find any info pertinent to this. Anyone on Lactnet know for sure? Please e-mail privately, as I am behind on my reading!
