i think that the idea of expressing colostrum prenatally is a good idea, if
you think that breastfeeding is going to be at risk. unfortunately, my
observations tell me that any mom who gives birth in a hospital (at least in
my area) is at SEVERE risk of having her breastfeeding relationship damaged.
and no, i don't think having a milk bank locally makes a difference, since it
is not considered a resource by most.
