Greetings all. I have been talking to my friend, Barbara Wilson Clay, and we
were thinking of an idea that might be helpful and interesting and something
new that we can add to Lactnet.

Is anyone interested in having a Journal Article Club, on Lactnet? Once a
month, people would agree to read an article (pref. current, but maybe also
one of the classic studies upon which we base our current practice). Then
we could discuss the article, and tag the subject line our our notes with
"journal club response -- mastitis," for example, so the archive issue is
easy to search.

Then people could give the full references and a brief synopsis, and then
we'd all be
interested to hear how folks use the info in practice, or what the clinical
implications might be, or basically their take on the strengths/weaknesses
of the article. It would be very stimulating.

Anyone interested in this please email me privately, with ideas for the
first article, and any other thoughts, etc....put "Journal Club" in your
subject line so that I can filter out the responses. Thanks...and thanks to
Barbara Wilson Clay for her guidance and wonderful ideas. As usual.

Kathleen
