The amount of lead in the milk is tiny. In some jurisdictions, there is
much more in the drinking water. For all the usual reasons, the mother
should breastfeed. The baby's blood levels can be monitored, but remember
that he got a lot during the pregnancy, and my guess is that his blood
levels will be high at first and slowly decrease if she breastfeeds
exclusively.
