problem because you can change the stooling pattern isn't logical, in my

opinion. There are many things you can change by manipulating diet or giving

medications - for example, you could make a child pee more often by giving

them a diuretic or giving them Coke to drink. Doesn't mean their original

pattern of urination was a problem.

In these cases, you would be correct, but none of the "treatments" I
described involve manipulation such as that. They involve supporting the
body's natural desire to be healthy. Also, I said in my original post that I
do not believe allergy is the underlying cause all of the time. IMO, since we
have normalized this stooling pattern, we don't have even much in the way of
anectdotal observations to go on. I have noticed that another commonality has
been traumatic birth, but that does not mean anything, really. It just means
I believe based on my own observations and awareness of patterns in some
other cultures, that it is not normal. Lest you be concerned, I do not
discuss it much we/ mothers, unless they are obviousely having other
problems, since I know they will told by everyone else that I am wrong, and
it would be of little benefit.
