Just had to brag:
Talked to parents last night. Baby is still "nursing like a pro",
exclusively, milk supply full (age 2mos). This was probably the most
complicated case I've ever had: Emergent C/S, oral aversion from
laryngoscopy (thick meconium), bad advice at a baby-unfriendly hospital,
jaundice, flat/inverted nipples, tight frenulum, slow weight gain,
faltering milk supply, clamping, sore nipples, "postpartum depression"
(role adjustment difficulties), etc. Just goes to prove that a
*determined* mom *can* get through all the road blocks to ultimately have a
successful breastfeeding experience!
