Wow. This just blew me away. First, to realize that cocaine use during
pregnancy (which I would have considered pretty harmful to the baby) is
considerably LESS harmful - at least in terms of intelligence - than feeding
ABM.(Now there's a message to give mothers!)
And secondly, to realize that the costs of feeding ABM are so much wider
than I had realized, and yet are so completely ignored. The experts are
pretty eager to put money into preventing cocaine use during pregnancy, but
how babies are fed is treated as an unimportant choice.
