I've heard of teabags for nipple problems as a house remedy, but always thought
that people recommending it referred to *used* teabags, so with most of the
working stuff out of it. Fresh black tea may well dry the skin, for it is high
in tanning components. When I think of any teabags to use, I'd make some
chamomilla tea (and drink it) and then use the bag on the nipple. Chamomilla has
a soothing affect and seems to work well on disturbed ''fluid and air
logistics'' in the body (toothing pain in babies, belly aches in children).I
also use chamomilla tea (weak solution) to make wet warm compresses before
massaging a plugged or engorged breast.
