It would be interesting if you could skim off the higher fat hindmilk
from pumped milk and use that for the n-g feeds, or in the supplemental
bottles. Paula Meir recently published an article concluding that many
preemies actually obtain more milk when using a nipple
shield............if mom is open this is an option...........OTOH one
more intervention may be confusing to mom and baby both. Perhaps a
feeding tube along side mom's breast or in a nipple shield with
hindmilk???? Is mom pumping and how is her supply?
