This is strictly anecdotal, but we had enough moms who were tandem nursing
here in NYC to actually have separate LLL meetings just for the tandem moms.
Among the group there were *no* miscarriages and/or  premature labor episodes
or deliveries.  As a matter of fact, several of the moms (myself included)
went over their due dates by up to ten days.

It's a small sample tho -- just seven or eight women --  and not
statistically  meaningful.

BTW -- my first child arrived on her due date; when I was nursing thru
pregnancy the baby was 9 days late!
