I've said before and I'll say again (my hot button :-) separation of any
sort of mother and baby after delivery is a guaranteed way to be sure BF
doesn't go well. Mother and baby should not be separated. Look at your
hospital procedures after birth, are mother and baby separated? Bingo,
that's one of many reasons why Bf gets off to a poor start. A number of
years ago in a hospital with high # of epidurals, mother and baby
were not separated until after first BF. These babies seemed to have
