I'm several days late getting this in to lactnet - catching up with a sore,
throbbing great toe and dilated eyes after eye exam. Well, this is a very
interesting case and seems like a real knowledgeable lady who is quite
familiar with her own body changes.
My first guess is oversupply (even tho she refutes this) with tendency to
chronic mastitis. Note lactnet has talked about dairy cattle and stringy
globby milk. Maybe she would benefit from low dose antibiotic therapy on a
chronic use basis.
One other thing that may help is to increase salt in her diet. She says she
eats low salt and drinks lots of water. I know archives have info on
increasing salt to help prevent this type of thing. Good luck.
