I haven't recommended than in years either. It seems to me that the
more the breasts/nipples "need" them, the harder they are to keep
"on target".  They certainly do no good and I'm not sure they don't
aggravate the problem when they slip in the bra so that instead of
pressure at the base of the nipple it's somewhere else and the
nipple has the pressure!
