Where are all these peds getting this goal of 8oz/week weight gain from?  My daughter gained this much a week for the first year and was at the top of the growth charts and the doctor didn't want her to gain any faster.  I have always thought that 8 oz. was at the top end of a 3-8 oz. acceptable weight gain per week.  Am I missing something???
