Seeing this post crystallised something which I think helps sum up much of
the debate we have had on this topic recently:  test weighing is part of the
'cascade of intervention'.  For some compromised infants it is arguable that
there may be a rationale for instigating the cascade.  For healthy term
infants, maybe it is just too hard to jump off the boat once you are
whitewatering in that cascade.
