In quebec, the birth rate is an astonishingly low 1.2

I know *no one* who has 3 kids who did not have 2 of the same sex first.
And the people who have 3 are very rare.

Someone asked my dh the other day if his vasectomy was painful since this
person was discussing with his wife whether he or she would get snipped.
DH has not had a vas.  The guy just assumed he had since he has a boy and a
girl.  He was utterly baffled as to why he hadn't had it done yet.

But at the LLL meetings I go to, most everyone has two (or aspires to at
least 2) and the leaders have 3,4,5 a piece.
