I rather hesitate to advise the use of painkillers without educating the mom
that pain is just a sign of the body that something is wrong. One can kill the
pain, but that does not mean the damage or whatever was wrong is gone.
Did the calcifications coincide with the ''rubber-band-like'' area's? Could it
be those that hurt or press against surrounding tissue?
