There are a number of websites that have directions on making your own
sling, even really simple ones. I use the search engine,
http://www.dogpile.com because it searchs a number of different serach
engines at the same time. Type in 'baby slings' in the search box and click
on 'fetch' (it's dogpile, get it, 'fetch'!? What can I say...I love dogs
LOL. expecting Australian Shepard pups this weekend!). Anyway, you will
get a number of commercial sites from people like me who sell baby slings
but there are also some with the directions I mentioned.
