Well, I've been practicing as an LC for 15 years. Have been in MCH working
with mothers and babies and/or teaching nursing students or aspiring IBCLCs
or in L&D since 1972. Do lactation work of one sort or another approximately
50 - 60 hours a week. When do you suppose I'll become either old enough or
secure enough to not use the scales?
Nah, I don't think that's why I use test weights when needed. They are just
another tool in my IBCLC kit -- along with -- GASP -- nipple shields! And,
occasionally, even -- double GASP -- bottles with FORMULA in them!!
