Sounds as though it might be Lucey Driscoll syndrome. Rare -- but it can
happen. Really high bilis in the first couple of days -- too high too fast
for breastmilk jaundice or normal physiologic jaundice. But both mom & baby
have to be tested to determine if this is it or not.
