As for the risk of osteoporosis in this mom with multiple pregnancies and
multiple breastfeeding,  perhaps someone more qualified in this area can
respond,  I only know what I have read in various forums including Lactnet.

But as for Calcitonin "drying the mother up",  it has been reported to do so
in animal models, but I've not heard of such in humans. Further, due to its
large molecular weight, it is not likely to penetrate milk, nor be orally
bioavailable to the infant.  So I think the mom could continue to breastfeed
while she is under therapy for osteoporosis.
