I bet I won't be the only one to say the doctor in this case needs to
supply his/her refs to the mother, to explain why a perfectly normal
physiological process, which provides a normal homronal state (bf at 8
months) should result in abnormal bleeding.
If he knows something we don't, let him be the one to show why he knows it.
If I was the mother, I would take this advice to stop as an urgent sign to
change my doctor.
If I was feeling especially energetic, I would also write a letter of
complaint.
