I'd rather that than the introduction of a gauze filled rubber nipple. The
whole point of using the finger is to see what kind of suck the baby has.
When one uses the finger and the baby is biting, it is much easier to
encourage the baby to bring his tongue down (under the finger) as he is
supposed to at breast.
