There is a famous pop-culture weight-loss diet based on cabbage soup, and
friends I know who have tried it have claimed to me that they found it mainly
took off their water-weight.
So that is not at all research-based :> -- but it does make me wonder the
same thing. Maybe we should add cabbage soup to the watermelon-and-cucumber
diet for those edematous moms and see what is to be seen...
