Ok now I am feeling guilty. Yesterday while working in my peds office, (I
had my nurse "hat" on) I told a mom that I did not recommend she nurse her
12 mo old while I gave the shot. I did strongly encourage it after, but I
stated I didn't want to cause some sort of bad association. Shot while
breast is in the mouth! Was I wrong, probably. Guilt ahhhh. I guess I
thought I was saying the right stuff. Pam...did your child have any bad
associations/???
Also , earlier in that visit, after the weight in, dad said "pretty skinny
for a breastfed baby huh?" I replied, better a skinny breastfed baby than a
fat formula fed baby" OOPS. Like my mom used to say, sometimes my mouth
runs faster than my brain. :)
