Have searched archives to no avail.
Drs. Hale or Wright,
Any info or professional opinion on Lotronex (alosetron), the new drug for
women with diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome? I understand
it's in the same class as Zofran, which has been used for pregnant moms
with hyperemesis. Have a mom who's afraid to take diphenoxylate/atropine
due to concerns re: milk supply, and other meds / dietary management
haven't worked. (She doesn't have inflammatory disease that we know of.)
