<< sometimes it is useful in cases where the baby
likes to snack every 30 minutes or so and the mother would prefer the baby
to take more and give her more of a break between meals >>
actually this is where i often teach compression as well, because the mothers
often make it obvious that if they can't make that baby have "meals" instead
of "snacks" they will wean. but i just hate hearing nursing described as
"snacking" as it is always used in a derogatory fashion. what is a "snack" to
someone who weighs 8 pounds and whose stomach is the size of his fist?
