The original question came to me from a colleague in Europe. I donated blood
last month, and no, I don't have it. : /
My colleague wonders if this Creutzfeldt-Jakob can be passed on to others
via breastmilk or breastpump parts that are not sterilized adequately.
"What do you think about contamination with breastshields if different women
are using the same set (boiled, no sterilization) for their pumping
sessions. Is (Creutzfeldt-Jakob) heat resistant (say against boiling). "
Does anyone have any experience with this?
I think I will ask WHO.
